Day 1: Arrive in Yangon
+ Welcome to Myanmar, the country has just opened itself to the world and now are waiting people to discover its unique Buddhist culture and heritage.
+ Upon your arrival in Yangon, the former capital of Myanmar but nowadays one of the most developed city in Myanmar, your local guide will welcome you at the airport then take you to hotel.
Day 2: Full Day Yangon City Tour
+ In the early morning, visit the Shwedagon Pagoda which is the largest pagoda with painted real gold in Yangon. You will enjoy quiet and extremely peaceful atmosphere and watch local people and monks pray in front of the Pagoda.
+ Transfer back to hotel for breakfast. After breakfast you will visit the Reclining Buddha (Chaok-Htat-Gyi) and Mahabandoola park.
+ Lunch at local restaurant and Have some rest
+ In the afternoon, wander around in Bogyoke Marketand, Bogyoke Market busy treets of Yangon’s famous China Town and Yangon Jetty. Finish your day off at the riverside where the road flanked by colonize style builds which will give you the impression of Myanmar in old time.
Day 3: Flight to Heho, Inle Lake
+ Transfer to airport for onward flight to Heho where you will be picked up and transferred to your hotel by the lakeside of Inle Lake. Inle Lake locates in the highland of Myanmar in an altitude of around 3,000 feet above sea level. Here you will enjoy different environment from middle part of Myanmar.
+ After check in hotel, enjoy your day at leisure to relax.
Day 4: Full Day Inle Lake Excursion
+ Your excursion today will be made by long tail boat to see life of In-tha (name of local ethnic people live on the lake) and discover their unique floating farms and life on floating village. You will also see how the local fisher to fish with only one leg paddling the boat and meet the Long Neck Ladies who were relocated from the Myanmar and Thailand border.
+ Rest of the day is at leisure to relax.
Day 5: Flight to Bagan, Half Day City Tour
+ Transfer to airport for domestic flight to Bagan.
+ Upon arrival in Bagan, you will be welcomed by your local guide at the airport and transferred to hotel.
+ Bagan, where you will be amazed by its thousands of Buddhists pagodas spreading in the area of the Ancient City of ‘Bagan’. These pagodas used to be owned by individual families during its prosperous time.
+ You will visit the Nyaung Oo Market where local people buy food in daily life, the Shwezigon Pagoda which is the largest pagoda painted with real gold in Bagan.
+ Have a rest in hotel because the temperature is really high in the afternoon.
+ In the late afternoon, you’ll enjoy a horse cart ride and climb up to the top of the Shesandaw Pagoda for sunset. It is an unforgettable experience of taking the horse cart ride on the off-road treks through the pagodas when everything is quiet in dusk.
Day 6: Embark on the Cruise boat RV Paukan
+ Enjoy relaxing time in the morning until transfer to Aye Yar Jetty to board the RV Paukan. Enjoy the welcome cocktail in Saloon and check in.
+ Cast-off time is at 11.30. Lunch will be served at 13.00.
+ In the late afternoon, stop at a typical river village.
Day 7: Cruising to Mandalay
+ Cruise all day with a stop en route in the morning to visit Yandabo, a typical river village in Pot-Making, where the peace treaty of the First Anglo-Burmese war was signed on Feb. 24, 1826.
+ Overnight nearby a village (Ywar Thit Gyi or Pauk Myaing Pauk Taw) few miles away from Ava Bridge.
Day 8: Full Day Mandalay City Tour
+ Enjoy the sunrise. After an early breakfast, the passengers will disembark at Sagaing Jetty (Thursday only) or Gawein jetty (Sunday Only) at around 09.30 – 10.00.
+ Our local guide and driver will pick you up from the cruise ship and take you on a city tour in Mandalay. You will visit Mahamuni Image where you will see local people pray and stick gold paper on the Buddha for blessing. You can also try to make your wish come true by buying and sticking the gold paper on the statue (only man allowed to stick the gold). On the way to the Mahamuni Image, you will visit a gold paper factory to see how people made the gold leaf. Visit the Shwenandaw Monastery which means ‘Golden Palace Monastery” and was built in 19th century and well known for its teak carving of Buddhist myths. Visit the Kuthodaw Pagoda which is a Buddhist stupa that contains the world’s largest book of Buddhism.
+ Finish your day with a view of stunning sunset. at the top of Mandalay Hill
Day 9: Full Day Amarapura Tour
+ In the morning, about 30 mins drive to Sagaing, the capital of Sagaing Division in Myanmar and located on the Ayeyarwady River, 20 km to the southwest of Mandalay on the opposite bank of the river. Cross Innwa Bridge, built by British in 1934. Firstly you will visit the Maha Ganayon Kyaung Monastery to see hundreds of monks line up for daily meals at 10:15. Then visit the U Bein Bridge which is 1.2 kilometers long and is the longest teakwood bridge in the world.
+ Continue to visit Kaung Mu Taw Pagoda – the dome shaped pagoda 46 meters. At the base of the pagoda, there are 812 stone pillars and each one has a hollow and an image of a Nat inside. Continue to visit Sagaing Hill, which has a number of small pagodas, many meditation centers and Soon U Ponya Shin Pagoda. You can stop at monasteries and nunneries and talk with nuns while having a cup of green tea from hot tea pot and palm-sugar.
+ Lunch at local restaurant in Sagaing and take a short break
+ Continue to visit Amarapura, ”City of Immortality”, situated 11 km to the south of Mandalay and the ancient temple of Pahtodawgyi which was built in 1820 in the Inva ancient town.
+ Drive back to Mandalay and rest of the day is at leasure.
Day 10: Departure from Mandalay
+ Enjoy free time in hotel until transfer to airport for your next flight.
