AM: Pick up at your place and transfer directly to Duy Nghia Harbour to depart for Duy Hai Fishing Village. You will watch the fishermen bring in their catch from a night at sea on the river delta. Witness how locals smoke and dry the fish. Back to the dock, continue your ride to Bay Mau Coconut forest – about 7 hectares, surrounded by mangrove forests, canals, houses covered by coconut water leaf and get on bamboo boat to discover the daily life of fishermen, their families and their communities. During the trip, the boatman will make extremely lovely natural ornaments such as hats, rings, glasses by coconut leaves. You will surely experience the feeling of floating on the waves of water and join a equally fun basket boat race between the baskets together in the cheering and bustling music drum
Back to the local family for a relaxing foot massage with medicinal herbs, traditional therapeutic practice and preparing lunch together with their family. Then, you will taste the dishes prepared by yourself.
PM: Transfer back to Hoian town. Start for a walking tour around the ancient town – the impressively well-preserved trading town is as colorful and lively as it was before hundred years ago.. Follow the narrow lanes lined with centuries-old houses influenced by Chinese, Japanese, French and European architectures and visit its numerous places of interest such as: the majestic Kwan Temple, Phuc Kien Chinese Assembly Hall, Tan Ky Old House, the 400-year old Japanese Cover Bridge and the Historic and Cultural Museum. After witnessing the historic architectural structures, you will be entertained by a traditional music performance if time permits, and a visit to Hoi An’s handicraft workshop, art galleries and tailor shops, get some made-to-order clothes if you like. End the tour with visit to Hoi An’s colourful market, and experience the amazing sights, sounds and aromas of this busy market.
