Hanoi Halong Tour on Cruise – 5 Days

Day 1: Welcome to Vietnam & Hanoi city tour (Lunch/Dinner)

+ Our driver will be welcoming you at Noi Bai airport and transferring you to the city centre.

+ Morning: we’ll have a city tour. First, we’ll visit the Ho Chi Minh Complex, which includes Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum and President Ho Chi Minh’s stilt house (closed on Monday, Friday and the whole months of October-November) and One-Pillar Pagoda. After that, we’ll explore the Tran Quoc Pagoda on the shore of West Lake (one of the oldest pagodas in Vietnam) and then the Temple of Literature, which was Vietnam’s first university and is dedicated to Confucius.

+ Lunch at local restaurant.

+ Afternoon: we’ll take you to check-in at hotel. Then you’ll have free time to take a walk on the streets of The Old Quarter. You could visit Hoan Kiem Lake – one of the major scenic spots in the city, The Huc bridge, Thap But (Pen Tower), Ngoc Son Temple and a curious pagoda in the centre of the lake known as the Turtle Tower. You’re also free at leisure to go shopping and enjoy the Vietnamese traditional local food

+ Evening, after dinner, you’ll enjoy the Water Puppet Show at Thang Long Theatre.

+ Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 2: Hanoi – Halong Tour on Cruise (Breakfast/Seafood Lunch/Dinner)

+ Morning: We’ll have an early departure for Halong Bay, a World Heritage as designated by UNESCO in 1994. Meaning “Dragon descending to the sea” in Vietnamese, Halong Bay covers 577 square miles filled with more than 3,000 limestone “peaks” or karsts that jut from the deep blue water as far as the eye can see.

+ Afternoon: you will be on a boutique wooden junk to visit Halong Bay. While cruising through the bay, seafood lunch is served on board. Mingling yourself in the stunning views of the Bay and it’s dramatic limestone islets as we sail through the calm emerald waters to visit caves and floating fishing village.

+ Evening: Enjoy movie night, board games, and squid fishing or relax at leisure.

+ Dinner and Overnight on the boat

Day 3: Halong – Hanoi (Breakfast/Brunch/Dinner)

+ 07.15: Cakes, fruits, tea and coffee will be served while we continue the cruise through Halong Bay.

+ 09.30: Check-out the cabin and have an international buffet brunch

+ 11.00: Transfer back to Hanoi.

+ 16:00: Arrive in Hanoi. Check in hotel. Dinner and Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 4: Hanoi – Tam Coc (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)

+ Morning: We’ll have a boat trip in Tam Coc where spectacular limestone karsts jut out from the green paddy fields similar to Guilin (China) and Halong Bay, which gives this scenery the name “Halong-bay-on-land.” Enjoy spectacular scenery during the boat trip to Tam Coc caves and visit the Bich Dong Pagoda.

+ Lunch at local restaurant.

+ Afternoon: Transfer back to Hanoi. Dinner at local restaurant and Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 5: Hanoi – Departure (Breakfast)

Transfer to the airport for flight to departure.
