2 DAYS HA NOI – CAT BA – LAN HA BAY WITH OVERNIGHT AT HOTEL

DAY 1: HANOI – HAI PHONG – CAT BA (L)

AM: Pick-up at your hotel and transfer to Dinh Vu port and take ferry to Cat Ba archipelago in Cat Hai district. Recognized as World Biosphere Reserve in 2004 by UNESCO, which comprises of 388 islands of different shapes and sizes on a area of about 200sqkm, Cat Ba features with fresh air of the sea, tropical forest and historical and archaeological study. Cat Ba island has unique ecosystem as diverse as tropical rain forests, caves, agricultural parts, bays, beaches, coral reefs, mango forests. Upon arrival, embark the boat and start to discover Lan Ha Bay – the paradise of fairies. Having lunch while cruising into primitive Lan Ha Bay with its hundreds of multi-sized islands creating a spectacular panoramic view, many small fishing villages and small white sandy beaches.

PM: Stop at the Dark & Bright Caves, two fascinating wet cave systems with directly opposite appeal. There are 2 options for you can choose as below:

+ We kayak through the silent waters, enjoying the stillness of an area uncluttered with other cruise ships.

+ A local will row us on a sampan boat through the Bright Cave, where we emerge into a hidden lake enclosed on all sides by streaked cliffs and their tree-topped peaks. Passengers with keen eyes may be able to spot beautiful Cat Ba langurs, an endangered species of monkey that has sought sanctuary amongst the forested mountainsides of the Bright Cave.

We will cruise back to the harbour and on the way you will have a chance for swimming in the clean water and quiet area of Lan Ha Bay. Disembark and transfer to hotel for check in. Relax or swim at Cat Co beach

Overnight in Cat Ba

DAY 2: CAT BA – HANOI (B)

AM: Start to discover the Town. Drive to Cat Ba National Park to visit Trung Trang cave – a highly appreciated not only because of its values of natural landscape, geological geomorphology but also its typical cave ecosystem, magnificent stalactites… Continue the trip to Cannon Fort on the peak of a limestone mountain which is usually called No. 177 peak. This was a system of observatory platform and military tunnels built by French colonialists in 1889 – 1893.

Return to hotel for check out and drive back to your place in Hanoi
