3 DAYS MEKONG DELTA TOUR CAN THO – BAC LIEU – SOC TRANG

DAY 1: CAN THO ARRIVAL (D)        

Upon arrival at Can Tho international airport, you will be pick up by our guide and driver. 

Transfer to hotel for check in.

PM: start to visit Binh Thuy ancient house. Unique architecture in the harmonious combination between Eastern and Western culture has taken over-100-year-old Binh Thuy ancient house to become one of the must-see tourist attractions in Can Tho. You will get a glimpse into what an antique estate of a mandarin would look like back in the French colonial time. Then continue to visit Munirangsyaram Pagoda, one of the Khmer temples in Can Tho that is considered the most beautiful and has the most unique architecture.

Evening, dinner at local restaurant and explore Can Tho night life by your own. Overnight at hotel in Can Tho

DAY 2: CAN THO – BAC LIEU – SOC TRANG (B/L)     

AM: pick up at your hotel to depart 64km for Soc Trang province well knows as a place of amazing food, lovely people and hidden Khmer cultures. It might take you almost an hour to arrive there by car.

First stop is a visit to incredible Clay Pagoda, formal name Buu Son Tu, Chu Dat Set or Clay Pagoda which is located at the heart of Soc Trang is one of the most famous destinations in this province. Next stop is Chua Doi (also known as Bat Pagoda or Wat Mahatup), one of the most sacred and mystical pagoda in Soc Trang to all of local people here. 

11:30 am have lunch at the local restaurant with the typical cuisine of the Mekong Delta. 

PM: After lunch, continue to visit Paem Buôl Thmây Pagoda (also known as Sung Dinh Pagoda) in the heart of Soc Trang City. The pagoda presents a magnificent architecture of Khmer and Thailand. Continue the journey to explore the bird sanctuary wildlife landscape very naturally as a great home for thousands of birds are staying here. On your arrival, you will then get on the long tail boat to slowly and slowly turn into each part of the forest to immerse yourselves into the natural environment of Mekong Delta, before seeing the wildlife of birds right on boat and bird watching tower. And the long rice field next to the forest.

Then, Return to hotel in Can Tho. The rest of the time is free for your exploration.

DAY 3: CAN THO – DEPARTURE (B)

AM: Pick up at hotel and start to Ninh Kieu Harbor, boarding a local boat and head to Cai Rang  – Floating market – a must-visit place in Mekong delta. On the way to the market, you will see beautiful sunrise reflecting on the river; real local activities such as washing the clothes, catching fish or children swimming on the river. At the market, you will know the history, cultural values, bustling trading scene and amazing people there. Enjoy “floating noodle soup”, a cup of Vietnamese milk-coffee onboard and savor fresh pineapple on a local pineapple boat.

Transfer back to hotel for check out then transfer to the airport for your departure flight
