- 4-hour boat trip in Halong bay, Thien Cung and Dau Go caves.
Day 01: HANOI – HALONG (L)
AM: Pick up at hotel and start a journey 165-km east of Hanoi to Halong Bay, listed as a World Heritage Area of outstanding natural beauty. “Dragon descending to the sea” as it is known in Vietnamese, picturesque Halong Bay has more than 1,000 limestone islets rising from the sea, many of them containing beautiful grottoes.
Upon arrival, board the boat and set off on a relaxing and wonderful 4-hours cruise through Halong Bay, passing bizarre rock formations, such as the Dinh Huong (the Incense Urn), Cho Da (the Stone Dog), islands with sandy beaches, and Ga Choi (the Fighting Roosters) islets you will visit Thien Cung (Heaven Palace cave) – the most beautiful primitive cave of Ha Long Bay and the longest dry cave in Asia. Then continue hiking to nearby Dau Go grotto, listen to the legend about the cave and admire its a mysterious waterfall, with hundreds of stalactites instead of water. Fresh seafood is served on the boat before disembark.
PM: sail back to harbor and disembark. Transfer to hotel for check in. Overnight in Halong
Day 02: HALONG – HANOI (B)
AM: free time at leisure for your own activities for your walking or shopping.
Check out at noon time and transfer back to Hanoi, arriving at your hotel in Hanoi late afternoon.
