FULL DAY TOUR TO TRADITIONAL VILLAGES IN HUE

AM: Depart for Toa Kham harbor for a boat trip on Perfume River to Sinh folk painting village. Arrive Lai An terminal, visit the house of folk painting artisan Ky Huu Phuoc and to be introduced and taught how to paint a folk painting. Next, get the bicycle and continue to visit Thanh Tien village with numerous activities with local people and visit the local house to learn how to make lotus flowers under the guidance of artisans in the village. Thanh Tien Paper Flower Village is well-known for its 300-year-old craft of making paper flowers. Villagers make flowers for special occasions such as traditional festivals and Tet (Lunar New Year). Local artisans use bamboo stems for sprigs, colored papers for petals and cassava for pistils. Before leaving this village, will visit the monument of Nguyen Chi Dieu – the official member of the Central Executive Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam in the first course.
PM: Cycle to Tien Non village and admire the beauty of countryside, paddy fields and ancient temples along the way. Tien Non was formed in the 16th century and villagers have kept the tradition of flower growing alive since then. You will visit the centralized flower growing area and have chance to take part in activities of growing flowers and green vegetables with local people. Then, cycle back to the city.
