Day 1: Arrive in Hanoi (./,/D)
+ Flight: International flight on your own arrangement or on request.
+ Upon your arrival, your local tour guide will welcome you at the airport then escort you to hotel by private car. Check in hotel and relax.
+ A welcome dinner with traditional Vietnamese music will give you a first taste of Vietnamese cuisine and their culture.
Day 2: Hanoi City Tour—Discover the capital city of Vietnam (B/L/D)
+ A city tour will give you the first impression of Hanoi – capital of Vietnam, with oriental style old buildings, luxuriant trees along street, local market, motor-bikes,…
+ Visit the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, his former residence, the One Pillar Pagoda, Temple of Literature, Vietnam Museum of Ethnology or Vietnam History Museum, Hoan Kiem Lake and a Cyclo tour to the Old Quarter.
+ Finish your day off at the Thang Long Opera Theatre for a traditional Vietnamese water puppet show.
Day 3: Full Day Halong Bay Cruise (B/L/D)
+ Start at 8:00 am with private transfer to Halong City. Upon arrival, you will board the cruise ship for a relaxing Halong Bay Cruise through the stunning Halong Bay. You could relax by lying down on the sun deck to enjoy the beautiful scenery and sunshine. A shore excursion will bring you to discover a beautiful cave, visit a local fishing village with opportunity to interact with local people.
+ When the sun become a drop of burning gold that slid nearer the sea horizon, enjoy your dinner while having a view of a charming sun set.
Day 4: Half Day Halong Bay Cruise, Flight to Hoi An (B/L/D)
+ Greeting by the morning sun rise from the sea horizon, you can join a Thai Chi lesson for some morning exercise before breakfast.
+ Visit a limestone grotto in the morning and disembark around 11:00 am then transfer to airport for onward flight to Danang.
– Upon arriving Danang, you will be pick up and transferred to hotel in Hoian (about 30 minutes drive). Check in hotel and overnight in Hoi An.
Day 5: Full Day My Son Heritage, Hoi An Ancient Town (B/L/D)
+ Visit the My Son Holy Land in the morning to discover the ruined temple which was built in the 4th century.
+ When drive back to Hoi An, visit the historical Hoi An Ancient Town includes the colorful local market, the Tan Ky Old House, Fukien Assembly Hall and the 400-year-old Japanese Covered Bridge. You can also visit the local residents raising silkworms and producing silk for Hoi An’s burgeoning textile industry.
+ In the evening, the local people will hang up the red lanterns, it will give you the feeling of traveling back to ancient time.
Day 6: Hoi An—Relax on the Beach (B/L/D)
+ Hoi An is also famous for its beautiful sandy beach. Today you will relax to just enjoy sunshine and the beach.
+ If you want some interesting activities today, we highly recommend you to join a fishing tour to experience being a local fishman or go diving in Cham Island.
Day 7: Arrive in Saigon (Ho Chi Minh City), Half Day City Tour (B/L/D)
+ Enjoy free time in the morning until transfer to Danang airport for onward flight to Saigon. Upon arrival Saigon, you will meet your local guide in Saigon and be transferred to the hotel.
+ In the afternoon, explore Saigon with Thien Hao Pagoda, the former Presidential Palace, the War Remnants Museum.
Day 8: Full Day My Tho (Bentre)—Discover Mekong Delta (B/L/D)
+ Enjoy a full day tour from Saigon to My Tho to discover the Mekong River Delta, which is known as the ‘rice bowl’ of Vietnam. You will take a private boat tour through the water coconut forest to the center of Mekong Delta, enjoy a biking tour (about 1 hour) to discover the villages and a sampan trip through the narrow canals.
+ Transfer back to Saigon in the afternoon.
Day 9: Cu Chi Tunnels & Cooking Class (B/L/D)
+ Visit the Cu Chi Tunnels in the morning.
+ On the way back to Saigon, you will stop by an organic farm where you can pick up organic vegetables and join a cooking class to learn to cook some famous Vietnamese food. Lunch will be arranged there by your own cooking class.
+ While driving back to Saigon, enjoy some relaxing time by yourself. In the evening, a cruise dinner to enjoy the beautiful night scenery of Saigon on the Mekong River would be a farewell to this beautiful oriental city.
Day 10: Arrive in Siem Reap, Half Day Angkor Wat (B/L/D)
+ Enjoy free time until transfer to the airport for your onward flight to Siem Reap. Upon arrival in Siem Reap, you will be welcomed by our local guide at the airport then escorted to hotel.
+ After check in and a short rest, your private guide will take you to discover the world’s wonder site—Angkor Wat, the magnificent temple was built in 12th century. It is the largest first Hindu, Buddhist temple complex and the largest religious monument in the world.
+ On your way back to Siem Reap, enjoy the sunset from the top of the pyramid-shaped temple of Pre Rup.
Day 11: Full Day Angkor Thom & Ta Prohm Temple (B/L/D)
+ After breakfast, the cool weather and less traffic are perfect for you to travel in a Tuk Tuk to visit the ancient city – Angkor Thom which was the last and most enduring capital city of the Khmer empire. The tour in Angkor Thom will start from the South Gate and walk along the ancient city wall to see the lost temple of Prasat Chroung. Continue to visit the Bayon temple where you will be surrounded by 216 gigantic stone faces known as “smile of Angkor”. You will also visit the Terrace of the Elephants, the Royal Palace and the Terrace of the Leper King.
+ When the weather gets hot, our driver will pick you up and you can enjoy air-condition and cold drinks inside your private car while being transferred to Temple of Ta Prohm which is wldely known as “lost to the jungle temple”.
+ Rest of the day is at leisure.
Day 12: Full Day Tonle Sap Lake, Kompong Phluk (B/L/D)
+ In the morning, visit a half day excursion to the biggest Southeast Asia’s largest fresh water lake—Tonle Sap Lake. You will firstly enjoy a fun ox cart ride through the countryside, continue to have a boat trip to enjoy the beautiful lake view and mangrove forest on the lake, then spend rest of the morning at the largest village on the lake which is called Kompong Phluk, to discover the fascinating daily lives of the local people who leave on the water.
+ Rest of the day is at leisure for you to relax.
Day 13: Flight to Vientiane (B/L/D)
+ Free at leisure until transfer to airport for departure to Vientiane.
+ Upon arrival at Vientiane airport, your private local guide from IndochinaTour.com will welcome you at the airport then escort you to your hotel in Vientiane City.
+ Enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure to relax, you can have a relaxing walk around the hotel to discover the city or stroll along the river bank to enjoy sunset.
Day 14: Full Day Vientiane City Tour (B/L/D)
+ Your full-day city tour will take you to visit the highlights of Vientiane. Your will firstly get to know some more history of Laos by visiting the National Museum, then visit the temple Wat Sisaket which is the oldest surviving temple with thousands of Buddhist images. The temple Wat Prakeo – the famous Emerald Buddha image will really amaze the Indochina tour makers. Your full day Vientiane city tour will also visit the symbolic site That Luang Stupa and Patuxay Monument.
+ The rest of the day is free at your leisure.
Day 15: Flight to Luang Prabang (B/L/D)
+ Today you will continue your amazing Indochina Tour in Laos from Vientiane to Luang Prabang.
+ Enjoy relaxing time in the morning until transfer you to the airport for onward flight to Luang Prabang. Upon arrival in Luang Prabang, you will meet your private local guide from Indochinatour.com and be transferred to hotel.
+ Rest of the day is at leisure. In the evening, you can wander around the city and the night market to discover local life of Luang Prabang.
Day 16: Kuang Si Waterfalls, Half Day City Tour (B/L/D)
+ Luang Prabang, the city surrounded by Mekong River and famous for its golden city is well known for its beauty decorated Buddhist temples. It is a place that you will keep appearing in your mind for long time after your Indochina tour.
+ Your memorable trip will starts from taking part in an alms ritual in the morning and you will accept the blessing by monks who you give the alms. Have breakfast in the hotel and then start the half day excursion to Kuang Si Waterfalls, where you will enjoy beautiful natural scenery, have fun in waterfalls and relax.
+ Drive back to the town for lunch. In the afternoon, visit the Wat Xiengthong which is symbolic temple of the classic Laotian architecture, visit the Royal Palace Musem to learn some history of Laos. Then visit the Wat Aham Temple which means “Monastery of the Opened Heart” and the Stupa of Wat Visoun.
Day 17: Mekong River Crusie & Pak Ou Cave (B/L/D)
+ You will embark on the Luang Say boat for a 2 days cruise to Huay Xai, the small town located at the border of Laos and Thailand. You will proceed to Chiang Rai in Thailand from the border pass there.
+ The boat starts at 7:00am. You will enjoy a continental breakfast while cruising to the Pak Ou Village which is located at the mouth of the Nam Ou River. You will have a shore excursion to visit the Tam Thing Caves of Thousand Buddhas.
+ Lunch will be a buffet on board and the boat will keep cruising upstream the Mekong River to a hill tribe village where you can watch the traditional process of Lao wishky production.
+ Our boat will stop at Pak Beng around sunset and check in Luang Say Lodge for overnight. Dinner will be arrange on the Luang Say Lodge’s terrace restaurant with a view of the Mekong River.
Day 18: Full Day Cruising to Chiang Rai (B/L/D)
+ Enjoy breakfast at the Luang Say Lodge, then board the boat at 7:00am and keep cruising toward upper stream of the Mekong River. En route, you will stop to visit a local village to witness the rural life along the Mekong River and visit the Minority ethnic people.
+ Lunch will be buffet served on board
+ You will arrive in Huay Xai around 5:00 pm and be welcomed by our local guide on the Thailand side of the border, then transferred to your hotel in Chiang Rai.
Day 19: Half Day Chiang Rai City Tour (B/L/D)
+ After breakfast and check-out from hotel, we will drive to visit Opium House at the bent of the mighty Maekhong River and see the scenery view of three countries (Thailand, Myanmar and Laos). Visit ancient city of Chiang Saen where ruins of numerous temples, stupas, Buddha images are still to be seen, and visit National Museum where artifacts and archaeological finds are exhibited.
+ Lunch at a local restaurant and transfer back to hotel in Chiang Rai.
+ Rest of the day is at your leisure.
Day 20: Full Day Discover Golden Triangle. (B/L/D)
+ You will enjoy a full day excursion to the heart of golden triangle – one of the most mysterious regions in Indochina. Your fascinating day will start from morning by visiting the Long Neck Karen village to see the long neck hill tribe people who were relocated from the Thai and Myanmar border. If it is possible, you will also able to visit a Cock Fighting near the hill tribe village. Keep driving to Mt. Doi Mae Salong and visit the Chinese village on the top of the mountain.
+ Lunch will be at a local restaurant.
+ In the afternoon, continue the trip to Doi Tung – the highest peak on the Thai – Myanmar border. It provides an opportunity to have a view of many different Lahu and Akha village as well as terraced farming areas and see the Princess Mother’s frigid flower Garden from distance. Visit Doi Tung temple which was built in A.D.1493 on the peak. Its scenery reminds you of Switzerland with many unique images and temple architecture overlooking the entire northern rice field plain.
+ Return to the hotel and rest of the day free at leisure.
Day 21: Transfer to Chiang Mai by Private car, Charity School Visit (B/L/D)
+ Enjoy some relaxing time in the hotel until our tour guide pick you from hotel for driving to Chiang Mai. In the morning, we will drive around 2.5 hours to Chiang Mai. Before you arrive in Chiang Mai, we will stop to visit the White Temple which is a fascinating temple with amazing design and beautiful sculptures.
+ We also stop to visit a charity school—School For Life (co-founded with Berlin Free University) which is a children’s village offering free education, accommodation and medical care to children with difficult background. It is highly appreciated by UNISCO. Here you will enjoy a cooking lesson with children to learn how to cook local Thai Food. Lunch will be the food you cook and enjoy it with children there. After that, you will enjoy some free time to discover the beautiful countryside around the School for Life Campus. Day 22: Arrive in Yangon, Royal Dinner (B/L/D)
+ Enjoy relaxing time in the morning until transfer to airport for onward flight to Yangon. Upon your arrival in Yangon, the former capital of Myanmar but nowadays one of the most developed city in Myanmar, our local guide will welcome you at the airport then escort you to hotel.
+ In the evening, enjoy a Myanmar royal style welcome dinner on a floating marble boat.
Day 23: Full Day Yangon City Tour (B/L/D)
+ In the early morning, visit the Shwedagon Pagoda which is the largest pagoda painted with real gold in Yangon. You will enjoy an quiet and extremely peaceful atmosphere and watch local people and monks pray in front of the Pagoda.
+ Transfer back to hotel for breakfast. After breakfast you will visit the Reclining Buddha (Chaok-Htat-Gyi) and Mahabandoola Park.
+ In the afternoon, enjoy wandering around in Bogyoke Market and the busy streets of Yangon’s famous China Town and Yangon Jetty. Finish your day off at the riverside where the road flanked by colonized-style buildings which will give you the impression of Myanmar in old time.
Day 24: Departure from Yangon (B/L/D)
