3DAYS/2NIGHTS HANOI – SAPA – FANSIPAN MOUNT

DAY 1 : HANOI – SAPA BY BUS  – CAT CAT Village ( B/ L)   

AM: 07:00- 07:30 depart hotel for a 295-kilometres drive from Ha Noi to Sapa by new highway going through 5 provinces and city: Ha Noi, Vinh Phuc, Phu Tho, Yen Bai and Lao Cai. Stop and have a rest in 30 minutes along the trip.

11.00: Second comfort break at Lao Cai city before approaching Sapa

13:00: Arrival Sapa twon with colorful traditional costumes of H’mong, Dzao, Tay ethnic People.

PM: A short drive to the gate of Cat Cat village which is home of Black H’ mong ethnic people and is located near the bottom of a deep valley at the foot of Fansipan Peak. Experience the daily life activities of the locals, go trekking down to the valley bottom to the waterfall – Hydraulic Power Station; stop for photo with bridge and waterfall then you will walk up the hill for the bus to pick up to get back to Sapa.

Trekking distance is about 2.5 km and it lasts for 2 hours

Overnight in Sapa

DAY 2 : SAPA – FANSIPAN MOUNT – LOVE WATERFALL ( B/L )

AM: depart hotel for Fansipan legend complex. Upon arrival, walk to Fansipan Cable Station for an amazing trip to reach the Indochina Roof, 3143m above the sea level: From Fansipan Cable Car Station, spend 20 minutes with cable car to enjoy the spectacular scenery. Reach the altitude of 2800 meters, you have a good time to see the view and take photos, visit pagoda the spiritual destinations and trek up to 600 steps you will reach the peak of Fansipan. (Spend about 1,5 hours for hiking and taking photos).

PM: depart hotel to Silver Waterfall. Upon arrival, a short 5 to 10-minute walk up a set of steep stairs till you reach the steel arched bridge, the highest in Vietnam with a 300m drop. An ascent to the base of the waterfall will enable you to explore the surrounding landscape. This is a famous spot and is regularly visited by monks to pray.

Continuing our journey further 3km to Tram Ton Pass, the highest road in Vietnam at approximately 2000m above sea level. At this height you will feel a drop in temperature but the views are truly stunning, and you will have the opportunity to stretch your legs, explore and take photographs a long your next walk, a descent through the jungle to the Love Waterfall & Golden Stream. This area is known for cardamom crops, used for medicine, cooking and a significant source of income for the minority people. Transfer back to Sapa in late afternoon.

DAY 3 : TA VAN – MUONG HOA VALLEY – GIANG TA CHAI – HANOI ( B/L )   

AM: make your way to Ta Van where you will visit the Giay minority people and see the special Rattan bridge. This tribe traditionally fished for a living and as a result established themselves close to rivers. They have mastered the art of fishing with bamboo sticks, and cook the fish inside bamboo. Nowadays however you are more likely to see the Giay working in fields planting or harvesting rice. We will continue 3-4 hour trek that will take us along buffalo paths and trails, through an impressive bamboo forest to Giang Ta Chai, and then on to the village of Su Pan where you will be able to rest your legs and take in the stunning mountain scenery as we stop for a picnic lunch.

Return to Sapa town. Relax and leisure on your own, have a shower in the public bathroom in the hotel if you want. Then get on the bus to go back to Hanoi with two comfort breaks. End the tour at your hotel in Hanoi.
