4 DAYS CENTRAL HIGHLAND HIGHLIGHTS

DAY 1: PLEIKU – KON TUM (L/D)

Meet on arrival at Pleiku Airport transfer 50-minutes to Kon Tum. On the way, visit T’Nung Lake with its surface area 250ha. And YALY hydro-electric power plant, Vietnam’s largest underground hydro-electric power plant with its capacity of 720 MW.

Upon arrival at Kon Tum, visit to Gia Rai villages of Gia Rai hill tribe group believes in the existence of genies and hold rituals connected to this faith. Overnight in Kon Tum.

DAY 2: KON TUM – KON KO TU VILLAGE (B/L/D)

AM: visit Konklo suspension bridge and Rong house nearby the river. Visit the wooden church built between in 1913 and 1918 by French priest Guise Decrouille with the architecture style, an interior decoration mixed between the local and western culture inside the town Continue on to visit the Bahnar hill tribe groups of Pleitenghia and Kanhnogokotu, where animist beliefs are still a part of everyday life. The most famous spirits are the kings of water, fire and wind, represented by shamans who are involved in rain-making ceremonies and other rituals.

PM: depart for Bhanar Village of Kon Ko Tu. Upon arrival, trek for 4KM from Kon Ko Tu village along the Dak Bla riverbank, where local villagers are hard at work tending buffalos, preparing crops for harvest, and transporting their produce to the village market. Return by a pirogue to Kon Ko Tu village.

Evening: dinner with local and enjoy Gong show and Xoang dancing while drinking the local rice wine. Overnight in a Homestay.

DAY 3: KON KO TU VILLAGE – BUON MA THUOT (B/L/D)

AM: Depart Kon Ko Tu Village back to Kom Tum and overland to Buon Ma Thuot with photo stops at countless coffee, rubber, and pepper plantations. Visit Akodhong village of the Ede people with its long houses-on-stilts, weaving embroidery…

PM: depart to Dray Sap waterfalls, away 30km from Buon Ma Thuot City, Draysap in E-de language means the Misty waterfall. The misty is by the its water falls from about 30m height, 100m length creating an amazing veil of mist.

After checking into the hotel, visit the local market with a huge array of fresh food, if time permits. It is a must to have some coffee on this journey. Buon Ma Thuot has lovely outdoor coffee shops to blend in with the locals and laze away the evenings. Overnight in Buon Ma Thuot

DAY 4: BUON MA THUOT – LAK LAKE – DEPARTURE (B/L)

AM: Start the day with an overall the central highlands about cultures and history through Daklak museum. Then depart 1.5 hr to Lak Lake. Visit Jun ethnic minority village, where people still follow their ancestral ways of fishing, weaving brocade, and water farming. Enjoy Elephant riding and dug-out canoe trip on the Lak Lake to get such amazing experiences.

Time at leisure until transfer to Buon Ma Thuot /Buon Ma Thuot airport for departure flight.
