FULL DAY HIGHLIGHTS OF CAN THO

AM: Pick up at hotel and start to Ninh Kieu Harbor, boarding a local boat and head to Cai Rang  – Floating market – a must-visit place in Mekong delta. This floating market is a priceless “specialty” of Can Tho locals in particular and the people of the Western Region in general. The market not only preserves the cultural beauty of this rivers region, but it also becomes part of Western residents’ life. On the way to the market, you will see beautiful sunrise reflecting on the river; real local activities such as washing the clothes, catching fish or children swimming on the river. At the market, you will know the history, cultural values, bustling trading scene and amazing people there. Enjoy “floating noodle soup”, a cup of Vietnamese milk-coffee onboard and savor fresh pineapple on a local pineapple boat.

Continue your visit to a local family where they make rice noodles for more than 30 years. Have chance to practice some steps of making rice noodles and enjoy crispy noodle pizza there. Then, stay and relax on the boat while getting through the green canal, have a photogenic pictures and toward a fruit farm, strolling around and learn about different kinds of local Vietnamese fruits. After that, you can savor delicious fresh seasonal fruits chosen by the garden’s owner. The final destination of the tour is at a organic cacao farm in Can Tho. The owner of the cacao garden will show the Ca Cao farm and different kinds of cacao and how to make chocolate step by step from fresh fruit to yummy dark chocolate. Chill out and drink a dark chocolate and a cup of cacao wine made by Mr. Ca Cao.

PM: Head to Binh Thuy ancient house. Unique architecture in the harmonious combination between Eastern and Western culture has taken over-100-year-old Binh Thuy ancient house to become one of the must-see tourist attractions in Can Tho. You will get a glimpse into what an antique estate of a mandarin would look like back in the French colonial time. Then continue to visit Munirangsyaram Pagoda, one of the Khmer temples in Can Tho that is considered the most beautiful and has the most unique architecture.
