4 DAYS HA GIANG LOOP

DAY 1: HANOI – TUYEN QUANG – HA GIANG (L/D)

7:30 – 8:00 Pick up at your hotel in Hanoi and start your greatest adventure in one of the most remote areas of Northern Vietnam through the Red River Delta region. Stop for lunch at a local restaurant in Tuyen Quang Town, an area famous for green tea plantations. Arrive in Ha Giang at around 18:00, relax and have dinner at a Thai family in their traditional stilt house.

DAY 2: HA GIANG – YEN MINH – DONG VAN – VUONG PALACE – LUNG CU POLE (B/L/D)

AM: Depart Ha Giang City to start the drive to Dong Van. On the way, passby Quan Ba and its legendary Fairy Bosom Hills, visit a French bunker dated from the colonization. Then proceed to Yen Minh, known for its countless terraced fields, posed on the mountainsides stop in Mau Due for lunch.

PM: We will visit Sung la village this is village of white H’Mong people, the place in the movie Pao’s story, enjoy nice view and visit traditional house of local people in there. Then, visit H’ mong King palace – Vuong Chi sinh – a unique place, whose architecture is influenced by three cultures: Chinese, French and Hmong. It was also used during the French colonization as a secret storage room for opium. Continue our loop to the final frontier and travel through Ma Le, the ‘one-eyed ghost’ area to visit to Lung Cu Lag Pole – the North Pole of Vietnam. Overnight at homestay in Dong Van town.

DAY 3: DONG VAN – MA PI LENG – MEO VAC – TUYEN QUANG (B/L/D)

If you are lucky to be travelling in Dong Van on a Sunday morning, do not miss out on the weekly Sunday Dong Van market to meet the local traditional ethnic and peruse the fascinating ion of handmade goods and speciality produce, witness the trade market of buffalos, cows or chickens, or be dazzled by the colourful booths of

AM: Depart Dong Van for Meo Vac to start the first trek of the trip, a 10-kilometer hike through Ma Pi Leng pass, a must-see destination in Ha Giang. Stroll around the valley, cling to the side of the undulating mountains, overlooking the Nho Que river, giving unrivalled views of the valleys and terraced hemp fields, which decorate the mountainsides. Walking this path will give you feelings you have never experienced before. Though it is not advised, if you do not want to trek you will have the possibility to stay with the driver in the car and zigzag down the pass to the end of the trail. You can stop for photos on the way. Lunch in Meo Vac Valley

PM: Proceed to Ha Giang city for dinner and overnight.

DAY 4: HA GIANG – HANOI (B/L)

AM: check out and transfer to visit Thon Tha village (6 km) to discover amazing landscapes and find out about Tay ethnic minority.

Then make the drive back to Hanoi, returning by the same route. On the way, you can stop to take photos of the magnificent mountains and make the most of your last bit of time in this magnificent region.

Back to your place in Hanoi in late afternoon.
